Services & Delivery

Do couriers deliver on Sundays and bank holidays?

Yes, we operate 7 days a week including bank holidays. Please note that deliveries on weekends and bank holidays incur a €49 surcharge. Our standard operating hours are 9am to 5pm, but we also offer early morning (7-9am) and evening (5-9pm) slots with a late-hour surcharge.

What areas do you cover?

We cover all 32 counties of Ireland, including Northern Ireland. We also offer international delivery services to the UK and mainland Europe. Our point-to-point direct service means your goods never sit in a depot overnight.

How fast is same-day delivery?

For same-day express delivery, we collect and deliver within the same business day. Collections are typically made within 1-2 hours of booking. For guaranteed same-day delivery, book before 3pm. Urgent collections can be arranged by calling our operations team.

Do you offer next-day delivery?

No. We specialise in same-day express direct delivery. Every shipment is collected and delivered on the same day, with no overnight storage in depots. This ensures faster transit times and greater security for your goods.

Can I schedule a delivery in advance?

Yes, you can book deliveries up to 30 days in advance through our online quote form. Simply select your preferred collection date and time slot. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.

Pricing & Payment

How is the delivery price calculated?

Price depends on your chosen vehicle type and distance. Car/Small Van starts at €35 + €1.65/km, Medium Van at €45 + €1.90/km, Large Van at €50 + €1.99/km, and Luton Van at €60 + €2.09/km. Weekend/bank holiday bookings add €49. Late-hour bookings (outside 9am-5pm) add €49.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Square payment gateway. Payment is processed at the time of booking. Your card details are never stored on our servers — all transactions are handled by Square's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

Do I need an account to book?

No account is required. Simply fill out our online quote form, receive your instant price, and pay by card. For regular business customers, we offer account facilities with invoicing. Contact us at info@courier.ie to set up a business account.

Is there a minimum order value?

No, there is no minimum order value. Our base rate starts from €35 for Car/Small Van deliveries. Every job, regardless of size, receives the same professional direct delivery service.

Booking & Cancellation

How do I get a quote?

Use our online quote form to enter your pickup and delivery addresses, select your vehicle type and collection time, and receive an instant price. The entire process takes under 2 minutes.

Can I cancel or modify my booking?

Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled collection time. For cancellations within 2 hours, a €25 fee may apply. To cancel or modify, call us on +353 1 267 8682 or email info@courier.ie with your order ID.

How do I track my delivery?

Use our online tracking page and enter your order ID. You will see the current status, estimated delivery time, and a timeline of your delivery progress. You can also call our tracking line at +353 1 267 8682.

Healthcare & Specialised Services

What is healthcare logistics?

Our healthcare logistics service provides temperature-controlled transport for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, laboratory specimens, and other healthcare goods. Vehicles are equipped with validated temperature monitoring and our drivers are trained in GDP (Good Distribution Practice) compliance.

What is AOG aviation delivery?

AOG (Aircraft on Ground) is our 24/7 emergency aviation parts delivery service. When an aircraft is grounded due to a parts issue, we collect the required component and deliver it directly to the airport. This service operates outside normal hours with no additional surcharge for aviation emergencies.

What items are prohibited?

We do not transport hazardous materials, explosives, firearms, live animals, perishable food without proper packaging, illegal goods, or cash over €1,000. For a complete list, see our Prohibited Items page. If you are unsure about an item, contact us before booking.

Can I attach files or documents to my booking?

Yes, our quote form supports file uploads. You can attach delivery specifications, photos of items, access instructions, customs documentation, or any other relevant files. Simply click the file upload field in Step 2 of the quote form.
